This issue can possibly be attributed to a conflict between RØDECaster App and OpenGL, which is closely tied to your graphics card's performance. If you are encountering crashes within the RØDECaster App, an effective workaround is to force the app to operate using the integrated graphics of your CPU. Below are the steps to achieve this:
- Open the Windows settings and search for Custom settings for applications
- This is found in System > Display > Graphics > Custom settings for applications
- Select Browse and add the RØDECaster App
It is typically installed here (C:\Program Files\RØDE Microphones\RODECaster App)
- Once added, open the Options for the RØDECaster App and then select 'Power Saving' and click Save (This should use your CPU)
