This issue can possibly be attributed to a conflict between RØDE Central app and OpenGL, which is closely tied to your graphics card's performance. If you are encountering crashes, an effective workaround is to force RØDE Central to operate using the integrated graphics of your CPU. Below are the steps to achieve this:
- Open the Windows settings and search for Graphics
- This is found in System > Display > Graphics
- Select Browse and add RØDE Central app
Typically installed here (C:\Program Files\RØDE Microphones\RODE Central)
- Once added, open the Options for Central and then select 'Power Saving' and click Save (This should use your CPU)
