Experiencing a low frame rate in your webcam video stream can be quite frustrating, especially setting up important live streams. One common reason for this issue is that the webcam may not be outputting a UVC (USB Video Class) stream. UVC is a standard that allows USB devices, like webcams, to communicate with computers efficiently, ensuring smooth video transmission.
The webcam should output 1080p video at a minimum of 30fps. If it supports UVC video, ensure the cable is securely connected to the RØDECaster Video.
For more information about the RØDECaster Video, please see our RØDECaster Video User Guide.
