You can use a microSD card with the RØDECaster Video to store and play media such as videos, images, and music.
Using the RØDECaster Video For best performance, use a high-quality branded card rated at least V30 (preferably V60). Slower cards may cause playback glitches or stuttering.
Please note: The microSD card is for media storage only and not for recording. To record audio, use a USB drive connected to the USB 3.0 port.
The microSD card stores graphics, sounds, and videos for playback. Insert the card into the slot on the back panel of the unit.
Any quality card labelled microSDHC or microSDXC will work well. Look for cards rated UHS-I or Class 10 — these often feature the A1 logo on the front.
- Avoid low-quality or unbranded cards, as they can cause playback issues or other anomalies.
