While RØDE USB products can physically connect to a Linux computer, it is important to note that their recognition and functionality on Linux OS Systems are not guaranteed. The reason for this lies in the fact that the RØDE software, which provides additional features and customization options, is not officially supported on Linux computers.
When you connect a RØDE USB microphone or RØDECaster Series device to a Linux computer, it will likely be recognized as a generic USB audio device. This means that you should be able to use the microphone for basic audio recording and communication purposes without any issues. However, you may not have access to the full range of features and settings and audio processes that the RØDE software offers such as RØDE Connect, RØDE Unify or RØDE Central.
To fully optimize the capabilities of RØDE USB products, we would suggest utilizing a Windows PC or Mac computer.
