The NTH-100M includes a splitter cable in the box.
This splitter is designed for use with devices, such as computers, that have separate 3.5 mm microphone (input) and 3.5 mm headphone (output) ports.
Using the splitter allows both the microphone and headphones on the NTH-100M to function correctly when connected to devices with separate audio connections.
