If you are a customer based in the United States and your organisation is tax-exempt, you may request sales tax exemption on your purchases by submitting the appropriate documentation for review.
Who Can Apply?
You may be eligible for tax exemption if you are:
- A registered non-profit organisation (e.g. 501(c)(3))
- A government entity (federal, state, or local)
- A reseller with a valid resale certificate
- An educational institution with recognised tax-exempt status
Before You Place an Order
To avoid being charged sales tax, you must submit your exemption request before completing your purchase.
Please note: Sales tax cannot be refunded retroactively once an order has been processed.
How to Submit a Tax Exemption Request
- Prepare your valid tax-exemption certificate or supporting documentation.
- Email the documentation to our Customer Support team at: onlinesales@rode.com
- Include your organisation name and contact details in the request.
Confirmation
Once your documentation has been reviewed and approved, your account will be updated to reflect tax-exempt status. You will be notified when the exemption has been successfully applied.
