Keeping your Wireless GO (3rd Gen) up to date ensures you have access to the latest features, performance improvements and compatibility updates. Firmware updates are installed using RØDE Central on Windows or macOS.
In addition to updating firmware, RØDE Central allows you to configure device settings, adjust advanced features, manage onboard recordings and customise your recording preferences.
Before You Begin
Ensure you have the latest version of RØDE Central installed on a compatible computer.
- macOS 11 or later
- Windows 10 Version 1803 or later
RØDE Central: You can download the latest RØDE Central desktop app from here.
Update the Firmware
- Open the latest version of RØDE Central.
- Place both transmitters and the receiver inside the Wireless GO Charging Case+.
- Connect the Charging Case+ directly to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
- Wait for RØDE Central to detect your devices.
- If a firmware update is available, a window will appear offering an update
- Follow the on screen prompts to update the Charging Case+, both transmitters and the receiver.
- Leave all devices in the Charging Case+ until the update has completed.
Please note: Do not disconnect the Charging Case+ or remove any of the devices while the firmware update is in progress.
Tip: Updating through the Charging Case+ allows all Wireless GO (3rd Gen) units to be updated together, making the process quicker and ensuring all devices are running the same firmware version.
