The Power Button/Status LED on the VideoMic Pro+ indicates both the microphone's charging status and the current battery level. Understanding the different LED colours can help you quickly determine the power source in use and when it's time to recharge or replace the battery.
Charging the LB-1 Battery
When the included LB-1 Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Battery is installed and the microphone is connected to power via the supplied Micro USB cable, the Status LED indicates the charging progress.
- Slow flashing blue – Battery is charging.
- Fast flashing blue – Battery is approximately 75% charged.
- Solid blue – Battery is fully charged.
Battery Status During Use
While the VideoMic Pro+ is powered on, the Status LED changes colour to indicate the installed battery type and its remaining charge.

Important Charging Information
The included LB-1 rechargeable battery charges automatically while installed in the VideoMic Pro+ when the supplied Micro USB cable is connected to a USB power source.
