The Wireless PRO Timecode system has been designed to seamlessly integrate with the established SMPTE timecode standard, a protocol that predates the emergence of high frame rate formats. Consequently, our devices are optimally configured to accommodate a maximum frame rate of 30 frames per second (fps) when in conjunction with cameras.
Nevertheless, to ensure optimal functionality when operating at higher frame rates, it is advisable to select a timecode that divides into the higher frame rate you are using on the camera.
For instance, in the event of recording at a frame rate of 60fps, we strongly recommend configuring the Wireless PRO Timecode system to employ a timecode frame rate of 30fps for the most reliable and efficient performance.
The DAW software, such as DaVinci Resolve, should be able to accept footage at 60 FPS and Wireless PRO Transmitter audio at 30 FPS timecode and sync the media within the timeline.
