Should you encounter any challenges while attempting to transfer recordings from the Wireless PRO TX within the Charging case, consider implementing the following Troubleshooting steps:
- Make sure you're using the provided Super Speed USB-C cable that accompanies the Wireless PRO. This specialised cable is tailored to deliver optimal data transfer capabilities.
- For optimal data transmission speed, directly connect the USB-C cable to your computer. Some USB hubs may not support the high-speed USB cables required for seamless transfers.
- Ensure you're leveraging the most recent iteration of the RØDE Central app on your computer. Keeping the application up-to-date ensures compatibility and access to the latest features and enhancements.
- If using a laptop computer, ensure that the laptop's charging cable is firmly connected and actively powering the laptop. This ensures a consistent and stable power supply during data transfer operations.
Please note: When the Wireless PRO charging case is connected to certain computers (including some Intel-based Apple MacBooks) you may see an error message that says “USB Accessories Disabled. Unplug the accessory using too much power to re-enable USB devices”
This is because these computers are not compatible with simultaneous high-speed data transfer and fast charging. If you see this error, use the standard SC22 USB-C cable instead of the SuperSpeed SC34 cable.
