The original Wireless GO outputs audio through the 3.5 mm TRS output on the receiver. Many modern computers and laptops do not include a dedicated microphone input with enough gain to use this connection directly.
To connect your Wireless GO to a computer, RØDE recommends using a compatible USB audio interface.
Recommended Method Using AI Micro
The easiest way to connect the Wireless GO to a computer is with the RØDE AI Micro.
The AI Micro includes interchangeable USB cables, allowing you to connect to a wide range of computers and mobile devices.
- USB C to USB A
- USB C to USB C
- USB C to Lightning
It also allows you to connect up to two external 3.5 mm microphones without requiring additional adapters.
Alternative Method Using an Audio Interface
You can also connect the Wireless GO using a USB audio interface such as the AI 1 together with a VXLR Pro adapter.
