Setting up the RØDE Universal Ball Mount is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to securely attach and position your microphone, camera or accessory.
How to Set Up the Universal Ball Mount
- Check that your microphone, camera or accessory is compatible with one of the supported mounting thread sizes: 1/4", 3/8" or 5/8".
- Attach the Universal Ball Mount to your stand, arm or mounting point using the appropriate thread.
- Secure your device to the other end of the mount.
Important Tips
- Make sure all threaded connections are aligned correctly before tightening
- Do not force the thread if it does not screw in smoothly
- Do not exceed the maximum supported load of 2kg
- Check that the mount is fully tightened before use
Before You Begin
Before mounting your equipment, confirm that the total weight of your device and any attached accessories does not exceed 2kg. Exceeding the weight limit may affect stability and positioning.
