If you ever encounter an error message while using RØDE Capture, it can be quite frustrating. One such message that users might see states:
"RØDE Capture has been denied access to your photo library. You can find your recorded videos in the app's Documents folder via the Files app, iTunes, or iCloud."
This means the app lacks permission to access your photo library, necessary for saving and retrieving videos. Fortunately, fixing this is easy. Just adjust your device's settings.
First, open the Settings app, then tap on Privacy and Security. Here, find the Photos option to manage app permissions.
Select Photos, scroll to RØDE Capture, and choose "Full Access" to allow the app unrestricted access to your photo library for saving and managing videos.
