Comfort is key for enjoying music with on-ear headphones like the NTH-50, which rest directly on the ears. This design can cause discomfort during long sessions, but there are ways to enhance your comfort for a better experience.
Adjust the Headband
Start by adjusting the headband for a better fit. A tight headband can cause pressure on your ears. Loosen it enough to stay secure while relieving pressure, allowing for longer, more comfortable listening.
Breaking-in the Headphones
If you find that the clamping force of your headphones is excessively strong, one effective method to alleviate this discomfort is to gently stretch the headband.
- To do this, you can place the headphones over a stack of books, allowing the headband to gradually expand over time.
Adjust or Remove Glasses
If you wear glasses, their fit can affect headphone comfort. Adjust your glasses to relieve pressure points, or if possible, consider removing them for a better comfort.
