Keeping your AI-Micro up to date ensures you have access to the latest features, improvements and bug fixes. Firmware updates can be installed quickly using RØDE Central on Windows or macOS.
Before You Begin
Ensure you have the latest version of RØDE Central installed on your Windows or macOS computer.
RØDE Central OS Requirements
- Mac: MacOS 11 or later.
- Windows: Windows 10 Version 1803 or later.
RØDE Central: You can download the latest RØDE Central desktop app from here.
Update the AI-Micro Firmware
- Open the latest version of RØDE Central.
- Connect the AI-Micro directly to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
- Wait for the AI-Micro to be detected.
- If a firmware update is available, RØDE Central will automatically prompt you to begin the update.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the firmware update.
Please note: Do not disconnect the AI-Micro or close RØDE Central while the firmware update is in progress, as this may interrupt the update process.
Tip: Once the update has completed, disconnect and reconnect your AI-Micro to ensure it starts using the latest firmware.
