Pairing the RØDELink Receiver with the transmitter is a straightforward process. This guide can be applied to the RØDELink Filmmaker and Newsshooter kits.
To successfully pair the devices, follow these steps:
- Begin by placing the RØDELink Receiver (RX) into pairing mode.
- This can be done by pressing the red button "∞" on the receiver.
- Once in pairing mode, the channel number on the receiver should start flashing.
- Next, you will need to select the channel you wish to use for the transmission.
- The RØDELink system offers 8 channels for you to choose from, providing flexibility to avoid interference and optimize signal quality.
- After selecting the desired channel on the receiver, ensure that the channel number is still blinking. Now, move on to the transmitter (TX) unit.
- Press the red pairing button "∞" on the transmitter just once. Upon doing this, the screen on the transmitter should display a 'P,' indicating that the pairing process is in progress.
At this point, the receiver and transmitter should automatically pair up, establishing a connection for audio transmission.
Once paired successfully, you can proceed with your audio recording or broadcasting knowing that the devices are synchronized and ready to deliver high-quality sound.
